EQUIPMENT: Please do not stand or sit on arm rests. They are plastic and will break. The arm supports will bend and make the reclining mechanism inoperable. Please do not stand or kneel in seats or pull on headrests. Do not place phones or other items on top of air vents. Items can fall into the vent, become irretrievable due to their positioning, and possibly cause damage to the bus.
MUSIC/MEDIA: Headphones must be used with personal electronic games, mp3 players, etc. Groups are welcome to bring DVDs for entertainment on the bus. For the safety of the group, the driver may ask that media with overly loud or distracting material be turned off.
SAFETY: All passengers need to be seated when the coach is moving. Keep the aisle clear at all times. Please familiarize yourself with emergency exits, keeping in mind that in most situations the most efficient exit from the bus is the same door your entered. Passengers should follow the instructions of the driver to maintain a safe environment; this may include remaining on the bus or disembarking from the bus in certain circumstances, per DOT regulations.
SMOKING: Is not allowed. Also, e-cigarettes and other vaping devices are strictly prohibited.
FOOD AND DRINK: Only drinks in plastic bottles with screw-on tops will be permitted on bus. Sandwiches and certain snacks are allowed.
NOT PERMITTED ON THE BUS: Canned drinks, fast food cups, or colored drinks (such as Red Power-Aid), sticky candy (GummiBears, Hot Tamales, etc.), sunflower seeds, or nuts requiring shelling (pistachios or peanuts in the shell). No restaurant food may be brought onto bus. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ALLOWED.
RESTROOM: Only the bathroom tissue provided should be used in restroom. No paper towels, cups, bottles, or other garbage/trash are to be put in the toilet. Feminine products should be placed in the trash receptacle, not the toilet.
STUDENT GROUPS: Adult chaperones must be present if students are on the bus. With youth groups, we request chaperones be seated throughout the coach.
TRASH: Garbage bags/trash receptacles are furnished on each motorcoach. In the event of spilled drinks and/or excessive trash, there will be a $50.00 cleanup fee charged to the group. The group will be charged actual costs for any damages or stains beyond routine maintenance.
It is the responsibility of the group leaders and chaperones to monitor the group’s observance of these policies.
